Stones of Bath, Building of Bath Collection

Saturday, Sunday and Mondays 10:30 - 5:00 The story of stone that built Bath and the people who worked with it. At the Building of Bath Collection, the place to discover how Georgian Bath was built. To celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2009, Bath Preservation Trust is planning a major exhibition celebrating the use of Bath stone in the city from the Romans to the present day. The exhibition will be held at the Building of Bath Collection from 11th July to the 1st November. Accompanying the exhibition will be a lecture series and a programme of study days. We will also be producing teaching resources and holding activities for families associated with this exhibition.
