Monteverdi Vespers in Bath Abbey

Bath Abbey Details of the forthcoming Abbey concert have been on the Chantry website for a while now, and the Festivals Box Office is waiting to take your booking if you haven't got your tickets yet. We are joined by the Parley of Instruments, one of the finest early music ensembles around, and this promises to be a wonderful evening. On March 25th, as a prelude to the October Bach Festival, we have arranged an unusual evening's entertainment with the help of our Festival Patron, Andrew Marr, who will be in discussion with Catherine Bott, Ruth Waterman and Professor Jonathan Cross. The title is 'Bach and Music for Our Time', and we anticipate that the conversation will range widely around the classical music scene of the twenty-first century, and inevitably the influence of the master of the Baroque.
